Spring is coming
Wednesday, February 16, 2011

Hello! It's been a while again I know! I'm ready for warm weather and creating new spring clothing and gifts! I've been so busy planning for my Spring Open House! I'm having so much fun picking fabrics and patterns. I have so many cute Easter appliques. I'm also expanding My gift items that can be monogramed. Lots of cute baby stuff and Graduation gifts. Speaking of cute baby stuff... This is my friend Amy's precious little Owen. I made this onesie set for him when he was born. He wears it oh so well! Do you not just want to eat him up?! Be watching for new things and the Spring Open House date!

I'm finally posting!

I know it's been forever! I've been so busy this year! Grant has changed jobs and we have all had to adjust! It's been good tho! I've been busy with kids and doing a lot of sewing. I've taken pictures of stuff then I don't take the time to post them. This is because by the time I finally get all of my "responsibilities" taken care of I'm so dead tired! I know all of you moms understand! Anyway, I am going to do better. Starting today! This is the last thing I made for Ava. She's so stinkin cute in everything! Love this with the brown suede boots! There's more to come!

Sewing, Sewing and more Sewing!
Here's just a few things I've made this week! I've been getting a lot of fun jobs to do
and some not so fun! (I haven't done those yet!) I feel so blessed to be able to do this for my friends and family. If only there were more hours in the day?! I really want pictures of these on the little girls! They would be much cuter. Well I better go to bed, I have another full day of sewing tomorrow! If only I could clean my sewing room in my sleep tonight! Oh well.

FALL IS HERE!
It's been forever since I've posted anything. We had such a busy summer! I've sewn a little here and there. Now school is well on it's way and we're on an actual schedule. Dillon is a junior! Sawyer's a 3rd grader, and Mason's a 1st grader! Allthough we're busy with homework around here, I get a few hours a day to myself to sew! Hope you haven't given up on
looking! This little bloomer set is reversible!

Spencer's Home!
Spencer is Home again. We haven't seen him since Christmas, so we're very happy to have him! He is still sweet as ever. Yesterday we all went to the beach. Me, Grant and all our boys. It was so much fun. (of course, I forgot the camera) The water was a little rough and full of jellyfish! But there was a great breeze thanks to Hurricane Dolly in the Gulf! Then we ate dinner at LuLu's, shopped a little at the outlet mall, and then went to visit Nana in Fairhope on the way home. It's such a blessing to be with all my boys together!
I haven't done a lot of sewing this summer, but thought I would post a few things that I did make. I made these outfits for my cousin Ama
nda's children. Erik, Jillianna and Henry! They wore these on the 4th of July!
This is Piper again! I made this outfit for her 2nd Birthday! It's a double layer dress with ruffles on each layer. She can wear it in the fall with a long sleeve blouse under it. The pants are the pleated Gauchos. They have a pleat on the bottom with striped fabric. It was so hard to get pictures of this busy girl, I hope you can see what it is. This is my favorite fabric! I had so much fun making
this!

Slumber Party!

I know it's been a while. Grant and Dillon have been in Costa Rica on a mission trip, so I've been trying to stay busy so I don't miss them to bad! I did a little sewing, and went to my mom and dads house and spent the night with them in Fairhope. We went to the bay and shopping downtown one day and the next day we went to Gulf Shores. It was so nice being with them! Then Friday night I had a slumber party. We were up until 2:30am, we had so much fun tho. I love these girls. My friends Katherine and Ellisa came too, but they didn't spend the night! We watched "27 Dresses" It was so cute! Needless to say, I'm tired! Oh, and I signed up for Facebook to look at some pictures and the next day I had around 144 emails. Most of them Friend requests. It's very fun, but takes a lot of time. I've found that I really have to check it often because there's no telling what pictu
res
will show up on it!! This is a new Amy Butler wristlet I made this week, and this is a pear pincushion I made for my friend Magen! The Guys made it back tonight, I'm so happy to have them home. They had a great time! I'm so grateful for Grant! Little boys need their daddy!

Piper

I spent the day at my BEST friend Karens house today. We were getting ready for Bunco which is tomorrow night. We all look so forward to that! She made the best salad for lunch! Why does somebody else's salad always taste better? This is her precious baby Piper. I was there when she was born so we have a special bond. I love her so much! This is an outfit that I made her. It's the peasant top with ruffles and boutique bottoms. This outfit is $50.00. Custom made to fit perfect. It's 100% cotton. Pants can also be made capri length.
